Our story

Tiana (a certified public accountant) and Evan (a financial advisor) are the owners and lead designers of Fairytale. During 2020, they were planning their own wedding during a global pandemic. Through such trying times and uncertainty, they found themselves planning 3 separate weddings due to postponing and trying to make everything make sense. In August of 2021, they finally had their dream wedding under a 4,000sqft tent in the middle of a gorgeous field next to a barn. As one could imagine, it took a lot of time and helping hands to transform such a space into a venue that was truly fit for a wedding! Although the tireless nights of crafting, DIYing, and planning made for some fun and interesting stories, it would have been much more ideal if they could have just had the decor taken care of by a professional.

During all of this, Tiana and Evan had also been investing in real estate, specifically renovating, decorating, and designing homes. It was after their wedding that they found a way to join their passion for decor with the need for wedding decoration professionals in the area. Shortly after, Fairytale was born!

The goal of Fairytale was to completely disrupt the wedding industry with a company that could be a luxury one-stop-shop for decor. Fairytale was created to offer not only decor items, but a trusted and innovative service that helps couples have a “hands off experience” while having the wedding of their dreams.

Today, Fairytale has serviced over 500 events throughout the Midwest and has continued to grow a team of dedicated staff who love to provide couples with an immersive and high touch decor experience.
